No Personal Data Collected

Talk does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

Local Storage Only

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Questions viewed and question history (to avoid repeats)
• Saved questions (your favorites)
• App preferences — theme and haptics settings

This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it.

In-App Purchases

Talk offers an optional subscription and a lifetime purchase through the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or process any payment or financial information. Our subscription infrastructure provider, RevenueCat, processes anonymized purchase receipts on our behalf to unlock premium features. Your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

Talk collects anonymous usage analytics — for example which screens are visited, which decks are opened, and whether the paywall converts — using PostHog, hosted in the European Union. These events are linked to a random device identifier, never to your name, email, or identity; we do not know who you are. We use this data solely to improve the app.

Talk contains no advertising networks, does not track you across other apps or websites, and never sells your data.

Children's Privacy

Talk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
